My pistol is a Springfield Armory XDm .45 caliber. The pistol is for the most part stock but the trigger has been modified to improve response and the sights have been replaced with Tritium night sights.

The following are videos taken of me shooting at various matches. The camera is a Contour Roam attached to the right side of my hat.

Matches are a series of "courses of fire", essentially a scenario. They consist of some combination of targets, no-shoots (hostages), and barriers. Not all scenarios contain all elements. Some require movement. Targets are roughly human shaped. One attempts to shoot to the center of mass and/or the head depending on the scenario. Scenarios are timed and penalty points added for poor aim, misses, hitting a hostage, failure to follow scenario instructions or possible safety violations. Since we are dealing with potentially deadly weapons, safety is at the top of the list of importance. A match consists of between six and ten scenarios. The times (plus penalty times) are added for all scenarios to give an overall match score. The person with the lowest score wins the match and wins kudos from others. Kudos are also given for those with the lowest penalty points.
